Dan-Sound Premises - Fire Damage Friday 25th
July 2008
Friday 25th. July -
the last week of Dan-Sound annual holidays -
a ruinous fire broke out, transforming the DAN-
SOUND company premises from a nice building to a total ruin.
The fire lasted for only 3 hours -
but the destruction was total!
The fire was caused by a gardener, who removing weeds from our around the
building with a gas burner.
The wind was strong -
very strong -
and the flames happened to find a way under the outside metal front.
He had no chance to stop the fire. Neither had the firemen>
By Sunday 10th of August,
new preemies had been located and Dan-Sound resumed operation.
Shipments due were seen to fill the new empty warehouse.
Fresh product orders were placed immediately and thus disruption was minimised.
We will kindly
ask for your understanding -
especially with the lack of old
model spare parts.
Spares in current production will, of course remain available, and are being
replenished, but spares for older,
obsolete models can no longer be sourced from original parts manufacturers.
For this reason, it may prove impossible, in the future, to repair some
old models.
Dan-Sound and avsglos apologies for this situation, which is totally
unavoidable.
